This training course on NFPA 20 – Standard for the Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection guides participants through the entire life cycle of a stationary fire pump, from design and installation to commissioning, inspection, testing and maintenance (ITM).

The course is particularly suitable not only for companies involved in the design, installation and maintenance of fire-fighting systems, but also for risk engineers working for insurance companies and brokers, who need to gain an in-depth understanding of the technical and regulatory requirements of fire pumps in order to:

  • correctly assess the suitability of the solutions installed,
  • identify recurring critical issues during the design, installation or management phases,
  • provide qualified support for loss prevention and risk assessment activities.

When an organisation is responsible for the installation, testing and maintenance of fixed fire pumps, or when such systems are a key factor in insurance risk assessment, it is essential that the personnel involved are up to date with the latest requirements of NFPA 20. Investing in training improves the technical quality of decisions, reduces risk exposure and enhances the professional competence of the personnel involved.

The course lasts 2 days (14 hours) and will be held on 9 and 11 November 2026.

The course can be purchased individually or in combination (bundle) with the NFPA 13 – Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems course:

  • Course NFPA 20 (stand-alone): €1.350 + IVA
  • NFPA 13 + NFPA 20 bundled solution: €2,950 + VAT (instead of €3,300 + VAT)

The bundled option is designed for those who want comprehensive training on the main active fire protection systems, providing an integrated overview of sprinkler systems and fire-fighting pump systems.
